Phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) is included in one of the effective organisms for plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR); which are widely used as Bio-fertilizers for plant growth and nutrient use efficiency. These soil micro-organisms play a significant role in regulating the dynamics of organic matter decomposition and the availability of plant nutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) and other nutrients.
